Cafec

CAFEC is the specialty-coffee brand of Sanyo Sangyo, a Japanese paper-filter manufacturer founded in 1973 and headquartered in Beppu, Oita. The company spent decades as an OEM supplier of cone-shaped coffee filter paper before launching CAFEC in 2016.

The line is built around its Abaca filter paper, made from abaca (Manila hemp) fibre blended with FSC-certified wood pulp and embossed with a two-side crepe texture for fast, even flow. CAFEC also produces dripper systems including the Flower Dripper, Deep 27, Deep 45 and Oval, plus drip kettles and servers.
